Britney Spears Just Posted The Most HEARTBREAKING Confession About Her Sons — And She's Blaming Her Parents

Grab the tissues, because Britney Spears just opened up about one of her deepest fears as a mom — and it's absolutely gutting.

The pop legend, 44, took to X on Friday with a lengthy, emotional post confessing that she believes she "failed as a mother" after one of her sons told her he doesn't believe in God. Yes, really.

"I firmly believe I am an angel, and it hurts," Britney wrote alongside what appeared to be an old photo of sons Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, running on the beach. But she's still certain there's "a Holy Spirit that sits high in the kingdom of heaven ... I've been there I've felt it."

But Britney wasn't done. She also dropped a bombshell about her parents allegedly taking her kids behind her back.

According to Page Six, the "Toxic" singer claimed she found out five years ago that her sons "were secretly taken to the beach" by her estranged dad Jamie Spears and mom Lynne Spears — without her permission.

"The whole summer ... I look back now and I remember my dad not letting me go to a diner ever again to eat a hamburger with a new extremely cool friend I had found cuz all the attention I got from the paps after being held in my home for 4 months offended him," Britney wrote.

The mom of two said she "felt demoralized" by her parents allegedly spending time with her kids without her, noting she "went to my knees and cried for two months."

"I Never Got To Be Me"

The rant didn't stop there. Britney went IN on the system that controlled her for so long.

"I never got to be me" despite being "unbelievably intelligent" because she "was brainwashed into an ignorant system where every goddamn person took advantage of me," she penned.

She also recalled being "unbelievably passionate about everything" when she was younger, but now she's asking herself: "How the hell would a government allow that?"

The pop star — who was under a conservatorship for 13 years until it was terminated in November 2021 — has been vocal about how her father controlled her every move, allegedly forcing her to take birth control and work against her will.

The singer — who shares her sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline — has faced a lot since shooting to fame as a teenager. She was arrested for a DUI in March and checked herself into rehab the following month, reportedly at the urging of her sons.

"This was non-negotiable to them. She needed to get help and they told her that they wouldn't take no for an answer," a source previously told the Daily Mail.

Since exiting the facility in April, Britney has been "doing really well" and "feeling very positive," according to insiders. She accepted a "wet reckless" offer in court in May and is expected to complete a three-month alcohol education program.
